We are currently learning many different ways to gain a deeper understanding of the text. Below are the links to class notes that we have been working on in class.

Text Structure Unit

Text Structure Unit Test has been rescheduled to next Thursday, September 8, 2011.

You need to carefully study the following notes:
1) Narrative vs. Expository
2) Text Structure Chart

You also need to be able to read a passage and
1) identify the text structure
2) choose the appropriate graphic organizer
3) fill in the graphic organizer with the information from the passage

Manual Project is due on MONDAY, 8/22/11

Make sure that you have the project ready to present on Monday!
You may design your page however you want as long as:
1) the size will fit into a regular size binder
2) font size is reasonable
3) font style is legible
4) single space
5) follow the rubric
